What is the Léocarte?
The Léocarte is the European card proving personal status.
It is used to eat in all CROUS restaurants (Resto’U, cafeterias, brasseries), use photocopiers, access certain buildings…
The 6 members of the COMUE Normandie-Université (Université du Havre Normandie, Caen Normandie, Rouen Normandie, ENSA, the INSA and ENSICAEN engineering schools) and associated establishments (Esigelec, Unilasalle) are equipping users with a new European contactless smart card in bankcard format.
The Léocarte, a European card!
The ESC (European Student Card) is designed to :
- Facilitating access to services for mobile students
- Facilitating the exchange of information between institutions
Users in the system come from 8 countries: France, Greece, Germany, Finland, Spain, Italy, Portugal and Ireland.
A partner of the ESC, the CNCEU (Comité National de la Carte d’Étudiant et de ses Usages) is responsible for pooling student card services between member countries.
How to get my card
- Validate your multipass
- Apply for your Léocarte on https://esup-sgc.univ-rouen.fr
- Collect the Leocard. After receiving a message indicating that the Leocarte request has been validated, the agent will be given the card when he/she visits the ISD secretariat.

How can I benefit from the CROUS catering service?
As soon as the card is activated by the Léocarte service, an IZLY e-mail is sent to your contact address.
The e-mail explains how to validate your online CROUS catering top-up account.

Printing service
In response to the expectations expressed by students and staff in the major digital survey, the University of Rouen Normandie has embarked on a multi-year plan (initiated in May 2014) to deploy a set of document printing, photocopying or scanning points (also known as Leocopiers) across all university sites, offered free access to every user with a MultiPASS account.
Go to the nearest printing point and scan your Léocarte.

Lost / stolen card
You must deactivate your card at https://esup-sgc.univ-rouen.fr/univ-rouen
Putting the card in opposition on your Card Management System space also puts the card in opposition for CROUS. A Web Service ensures this.
