The Mon Master procedure
The Mon Master platformgives you access to a detailed description of each Master’s course, and then enables you to apply for the courses of your choice according to a common, nationwide timetable.
You can submit a maximum of 15 applications for conventional courses and 15 applications for sandwich courses.
Applications are counted for each master’s program within a given institution: applying for several programs within the same master’s program and at the same institution counts as a single application.
I’m putting together my candidate file
Admission to the first year of a Master’s program is not automatic. Depending on the institution, it may be subject to an examination of the applicant’s file, an interview or success in a competitive examination. An application consists ofa file common to all applications and additional documents specific to each application. The common file specifies the applicant’s baccalaureate and post-baccalaureate curriculum, transcripts, internships and professional experience.
Applicants must provide a CV, as well as transcripts of their marks for the last five semesters, or specify why they do not have this information. You can also indicate whether you are a top-level athlete, a recognized artist, disabled, in receipt of a grant, or planning a gap year or continuing education.
In addition to these elements, it will be possible to add, if requested by the application review boards, documents attesting to :
- Motivation and plans (cover letter, master’s research project, internship project).
- Academic, professional and personal background (CV in English, sports certificates, proof of professional experience, etc.).
- Work completed (summary of undergraduate research work, portfolio of artistic work).
- Results of tests and certifications, particularly in languages or IT and digital technology.
Don’t forget to consult the calendar on the Mon Master platform to make sure you don’t miss any deadlines.
No applications accepted?
A complementary phase will be open to all applicants who have not definitively accepted a proposal during the main phase. Applicants will be able to make up to 10 requests for conventional training and 10 requests for sandwich courses.
In July, you can contact the Recteur of your academic region, subject to certain conditions. You can do this on the My Mastersection “Contact the Rector”.
